The term wellness has been applied in many ways. Although there might be different views on what wellness encompasses, the National Wellness Institute--has defined wellness as:
Wellness is a conscious, self-directed and evolving process of achieving full potential
Wellness is multidimensional and holistic, encompassing lifestyle, mental and spiritual well-being, and the environment
Wellness is positive and affirming
Seaside House is concerned with the wellness of our residents and has developed a comprehensive program that provides for all areas of wellness; body, mind and spirit. We are dedicated to teaching our residents to build the foundation of a quality life. Seaside House offers assorted classes in a variety of wellness aspects including weight training, nutrition, meditation, and much more.
We have witnessed the transformation of our residents from various post primary treatment, to confident, healthy, thoughtful, and happy men. Additionally, we understand that whole body wellness is the first step toward a meaningful, goal-filled life.
